Featuring Dunlop’s unique MT5 5 zone tread compound the AL-13Z offers race tyre grip levels without compromise to tyre wear.
The MT5 5 zone tread compound has a high mileage centre compound, softer compound on the side & race compound on the shoulder for class leading grip & wear.
It has a high silica compound to enhance both wet and dry grip levels.
It's new race type profile allows for race tyre handling and easy direction change with minimal rider input.
CCT (Camber Thrust Tuning Technology) reduces tyre squirm under hard acceleration and allows for smooth & rapid line change.
Jointless Tread with Jointless Belt Carcass for consistency and zero growth at speed.
MT5 - Multi-Tread Technology
5 Zone Multi-compound for cornering confidence! Years of success in global Superbike & Endurance racing have resulted in the development of a pioneering multi compound, which is transferred to many of our Sportmax street & track products. The central traction compound contacts the road when the motorcycle is upright. It uses a tougher cooler running compound that maintains straight-line stability, traction, braking and most importantly longer tread life. The lateral compound that contacts the road when the motorcycle is leaning over incorporates a rubber compound specifically developed to enhance grip at maximum lean angles
High Silica Compound is blended with modern polymers to offer superior wet and dry grip in all weather conditions and fast warm-up in cold conditions
